The main aim of celebrating GANESHA CHATURTHI is to make the students aware of the legend behind the birth of Lord Ganesha. It is also to tell the students about the cycle of birth, life and death. It marks the festivities all around us that bring in a positive vibe in an individual. The celebration aims at bringing the feeling that all obstacles will be removed from our way and showing a new way by the Lord.

The celebration at the campus of MVJIS had begun with much fervor. The staff was dressed up in ethnic wear to add up to the festivity. A Ganesha and gowri idol was brought in for offer puja. The puja was performed very ritualistically by respected principal Mrs. Vamsheepriya Amar, joined by the staff of MVJIS. The students were also a part of the celebration, virtually. The day gave all of us a feeling that Lord Ganesha will bring peace, joy and happiness into our lives and will give us the strength to overcome all our problems.
