The celebration of Janmashtami during this pandemic seemed to us a matter of prime importance, as the students must know the significance of the festival and also the way it is being celebrated in different parts of India. The activities planned for different classes enables the students to be focused and concentrated, thus helping in the holistic development of the children.
On 30th August, on the evening of KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI, there was a fun-filled virtual celebration for the students and staff of MVJIS. The school had planned the following activities as per the class and age group.
Where the students could dress up in the attire of Krishna or Radha and perform a dance or Recite a shloka.

Where the students could do shloka recitation of any one verse with meaning From Chapter -1 of Bhagavad Gita (English, Hindi or Kannada)
Apart from allotting the activities, there were judges to select the winners of the competition based on the rubrics, being set by them. The day witnessed lot of colours, activeness and frolic in it, which added to the festive spirit.
