Dussehra which is also known as Vijayadashami, is a major festival that is celebrated at the end of Navratri every year. It is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. Every year as per the Hindu calendar, this important festival is celebrated on the tenth day of the month Ashvin. This year the whole nation will celebrate Dussehra on September 30. The festival is observed for different reasons and is celebrated differently in various parts of the Indian subcontinent. People all over the country participate in the occasion in their own way, with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day also marks the end of

Durga Puja, where people remember goddess Durga’s victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasur, to help restore Dharma.

The festivities began with a beautiful doll display and a creative board display by the teachers on account of Dushera. The teachers were all dressed up in their finest ethnic wear. Everyone took part in the doll display and also the soft board display, which had active participation by the students of Grades IX & X. The celebration was done with much enthusiasm and vigor, despite the pandemic. The utmost goal is to pray to the Goddess to wipe away all the negativities around us and fill our atmosphere with a positive spirit.

May The Positivity & Divinity Prevail in Our Hearts. Happy Dusherra!!!
